One Last Flip-Flop Card (for now) :)

Happy Labor Day Weekend!  OR, is it?  My little ones have come down with this yucky virus that is flying around this area.  BOO!  You know they are not feeling well when I have to ask them if they are hungry for lunch!  It was 1:30 pm and I had been hiding working in my studio.  This is a completely different story from last weekend when I had to convince Jacob that 10 am is NOT lunch time, ha.

Oh, and of course my hubby has to get it too because he gets everything the kids bring home!

I hope that you have a happy and healthy household for this LONG weekend!

Today is the last day to take advantage of the Big Shot promotion to get your FREE Bundle (valued up to $60)!  See those details HERE.

Another Flip-Flop card for you today!  These are so much fun to create!

Supplies I used to make today's Flip-Flop card:

Today I have been working on my Thank You cards for those who placed an order with me in August! Later this week I will share those--I do not want to spoil it for the recipients.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!  I will not have a blog post for tomorrow.  I will be back on Tuesday!

I Like You, Really I Do! :) Stampin' Up! Card

Happy Friday!!  (and THREE DAY Weekend!)

I have given you some peeks into the Holiday Catalog the last few days but, I wanted to be sure to remind you about the awesome Big Shot Promotion that ends on Sunday!  Go get your FREE or DISCOUNTED Bundle today!!  Check it out HERE and make sure to watch the video on how to create one of these Flip-Flop cards!

Here is another Flip-Flop card that I created.  I think that this color combo is perfect for fall.  Don't you? It's a bit hard to see that the base of the card is one of the 2014-2016 In-Colors, Blackberry Bliss.  Sooo elegant, rich and pretty!  The stamps that I used are from a Hostess Only stamp set; I Like You.  Place an order of $150 and you can purchase this set for only $10!  Substitute a multitude of other sets to create an equally stunning card.  :)

I did use some retired designer paper but I thought that it looked so nice with my colors that I could not resist using it.  You NEED to give this Flip-Flop card a try!  It's so cool.  Who would not want to receive such a neat card?

Here is a shot from above.  You can see that I added another die-cut piece of Whisper White to make it possible to write a message. :)  I also stamped a flower image (in Blackberry ink) on the right hand side but you may need to enlarge it to see that.

Mingle All the Way; There's NO Happy Like Holiday Happy! Stampin' Up!

The Holiday Catalog is NOW LIVE!  Get a jump on the Fall and Winter Holiday's!

Click to view the Holiday Catalog PDF

If you have placed an order with me and would like a copy of the Holiday Catalog please EMAIL ME.

Today's card was created using a set called, "Mingle All the Way".  This set includes stamps for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.  Keep an eye on my blog for plenty of ideas on how useful this set will be.

Here is a quick card that you easily create for your own Holiday cards this year!

Directions:

  1. Cut Crumb Cake card stock to 4.25" x 11"; score at 5.5"
  2. Cut your designer paper to 3.5" x 4" and adhere to card base
  3. Tie ribbon in a knot around the card covering the top of the designer paper
  4. Stamp image onto Very Vanilla card stock with Jet Black Staz-On
  5. Die-cut image with the Banners Framelits
  6. Color image with Blendabilities (or markers)
  7. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals
  8. Stamp the "Wishing You Holiday Cheer....." in the inside of the card with Staz-On.  I colored my olive green with a Blendabilities marker.
Step it up: Add a bit more coloring and then take it to yet another level when you add GLITTER!!

Glitter = Instant Fabulousness!!
